    What a beautifully written letter. BETH certainly struck a chord with the builder! I'm one of the masses he cites as not getting it. But, Little Bird sure is pretty.

    That is a wonderful letter and, clearly, Beth speaks to the writer in ways it doesn't speak to me. But the letter prompted me to forward it to my son...

    Several weeks ago my son asked me what I thought of two sailing canoe designs, one of which was Beth. I was not terribly supportive and told him it would be a difficult build for a first time builder. I apologized for that statement this morning. While he may not build a Beth anytime soon, I was wrong to inflict my biases on him.
