Beth Sailing Canoe and mixed fleet racing - improving light wind performance of lugs.
I"ve just put a reply to and email by Andrew Barclay up on my website.
He's been club racing for the last year and has found out the boat sails about level with a Laser/Torch Radial.
Most of his racing is in calmer weather and he is wondering about tweaking the boat more.
How does the BETH sailing canoe go in mixed fleets and handicap racing? | Storer Boat Plans in Wood and Plywood
This is not his regular race fleet ... but it is a very nice pic!

Hehe, he's creaming those big boats, because if they tacked they would pass behind him. His pointing height isn't bad at all because those sports keel boats can go pretty high. It is a great shot and we shouldn't let the truth get in the way of a good story .

The one on his weather hip is a bit of a worry and there might be a big fleet arching to windward! But the angles look good
