Robert, why don't you just use the attachment feature of the forum. The pictures are stored by the forum and you can link back to them at any time in the future.

Now how about that, I could have sworn you didn't need to be logged in to see the attachments but a quick test proves you do have to be. I may have to reconsider my own policies on that one.

Not having the pics visible takes some of the charm out of the thread as I lose your words when I look at the pics and lose which words belong to which pic.
What about putting the pics in as normal before on this forum but providing one link to all the pics that visitors can click on?
Just a suggestion - you can ignore it if you like!

Wow ... picasa pics embedded don't work any more.
(the ones I put in above are dead now even for members).
Solution is to use Flickr. Sometimes flickr kills links if there are only direct links to their photos but if you put one direct link to your own photoset on the same page they will not block the images.
Best wishes

Thank you MIK,
I've just changed my picasa settings to "English (US)" and I have new option "Image only (no link)"
This is a test below - I'm using this option with "" function on your forum(fitting of mainmast partner):
EDIT: About my Flickr account (I like Flickr!} - my free account is limited (200 photos), I'm not able to change of it on this time.
EDIT 2: I can see again few of my photos posted previously which was unvisible while ago - What's the abracadabra ???

Howdy ... Looks like picasa is changing its attitude slowly.
Flickr free accounts allow 100mb of photos a month and their uploader will resize them automatically if you ask it.
You can add a button to the picasa program on your computer to upload to flickr too. I find this quite useful as I organise and edit my pics with picasa. I can do this and send my boat pics to flickr and my personal pics to picasa.
http://picasa2flickr.sourceforge.net/install_v2.html
They do have a limit to the number of photos you can view on Flickr with a free account, but,
Your photos are not removed from Flickr, only from the list of your photos. If you blogged a photo and it no longer appears in your list, it will still appear on your blog, and the photo's Flickr page will still work just fine.
Hopefully both services

Howdy Robert,
I went to picasa and kicked off more talk on a thread that existed there saying everyone from Picasa can solve the problem by signing up to Flickr as it doesn't have the restriction.
That got lots of people to comment about the same problem and then the admins came in and tried to smooth it over but the crowd was not happy.
And to be fair the admins did say they would look into it. So maybe something has happened?
By the way, with Flickr ... the 200 limit (I think) is only for your visible photostream. If you sort things into folders for you different projects then these will be visible always.

Hey ... there's a hole in the boat.
Those are really nice pics Robert ... in a photographic sense too. I can see them making the cover of Woodenboat!

Notice the cunning way in which he glued in the mast step with the arrow facing forward?
Good one mate, though you may want to knock the corners off that square dagger board, maybe even get really keen and carve a profile into it

Thank you MIK
Yes - this "hole" is a slot
My photos of building project for Woodenboat's cover? Have you friends there?
Picasa have new functionality of picture's embedding - it works properly (I hope)...
Richard,
Preparing many of parts of BETH I've marked them by arrows or described like: "top", "L", "R", numbers etc. etc. It's really easy to mix them or glu them upside down or rear to front
PS. Aha! Vertical stiffeners of sides in front and aft buoyancy tanks called RIBLETS
