Very cool! It's a little hard to watch without getting dizzy, but once you get used to it the footage is great. Would you share with us how you attached the camera? It feels like the camera is to the port of the spar, but you did get a nice point of aim putting the hull in firmly in the center of the picture. Bravo!

    Hi
I copy this text from this forun under threat" prepared for winter " :
( just remove the "cup" and taped the rod to yard. ) I think the camcorder is bit too heavy for this job! )

    --------------------------------

I bought sheap ( 5.9 eur ) cell phone mount to car.

I have Kodak Zx1 "camcorder". ( 49 eur + remote controll ) The cell phone holder is ideal for mounting "camcorder" like this. Kodak lenses angle of view is too narrow so I have bought "lens" for it :
$16.75 - 15mm Detachable 180-Degree Wide Angle Fish Eye Lens for Cell Phones and Compact Digital Cameras - Phone Gadgets
Lens is attached with magnet, but it´s quite weak, so I cut clip of big markers hat and glued it to "camcorder" for better mount to lens.
    and here is photo :

Somehow , probably when we shifted , I managed to lose a bracket in the rudder assembly for my PDR.
Its the smaller one that goes on the hull .
I have put up a picture of the matching pair , the one I am missing is the smaller one with the zip cord through it.
Anyone know where I can get just that bracket ?.
    Regards Rob J.

    OK , thanks Col.
I only want the one bracket , not the whole kit.
    I'll give them a try.
    Thank you Col.

    Bummer.

You may have to just visit a Chandlery and see what you can find (is Tyrendarra near the coast?). We have a few around here and the ones I have visited have a good assortment, or they could order it in, pain in the #### though.

Maybe you could make one up out of a 2 pieces of angle steel or 'C' Channel if you are handy.

I'm close enough to the coast to hear the breakers booming in , and I have my boat in Portland , but the Chandlery there is more for big fishing stuff .
I may have to try my hand at making something up.
    Regards Rob J.

Give Duck Flat a ring Rob you never know they may have a separate one although from memory they sold it as a kit. I'm fairly sure it's a ronstan bit.

Yes Mike , I think they are sold as a kit , but a phone call is worth a try I guess.

Excellent idea with windsurfer sail. I had the same idea but can not solve problem with carbon mast properly. How did you do it ? If it is no top secret or UK or US patent
How much is your sail? It looks as 6-8 sqm .
It will be very interesting to compare performance of windsurfing sail with PDR luger .
For me wind sails have very good shape but one big fault -no reefing -and it is main problem -you can only change for smaller.
    Regards Tom
