    Mik (Micheal Storer) your name got passed on to me from PAR in the boat designs forum, he thought you maay know of a designer nammed chris lovegrove, auckland nz. im looking at a boat and want to know more about it, designs plans stats etc

    Howdy - I know nothing personally.

    But I did a search for
    Chris Lovegrove boat design
    on google.

    but no leads i am afraid.

    That's pretty much what I came up with too Kat. I've never heard of him, though this isn't saying much, particularly about a NZ designer. Maybe some one else here has heard of him.

    Cowabunga - Google New Zealand (of course).

    Some older designs of his for sail as older boats.

    There was a book of New Zealand Classic Yachts that you might be able to get through a library - it is a great book - and covers the right era - I don't know if his boats are in there, but I remember that chine in the side.

    Might be another boat or a false memory. Also you could ask at some yacht clubs or trailer sailor associations.
