The code for the pics is there, but they are not appearing. Are you guys sure you are still members?

That's one of the joys of stitch and poo boats ... maybe the only one? The ability to sort out problems at the stitch up phase. On the other side of the coin, unless the panels are spot on, you have problems getting a decent hull shape, which is why I'm very wary of a lot of the 'designers' out there. It's also why it took so long for the stitch and glue Heron to be ratified ... if indeed it has been - they found it almost impossible to get the same hull shape twice in a row (within the restrictions required for class racing).
Go for it mate. Maybe if the weather's too horrible tomorrow I'll come around and have a sticky beak

28th August 2009, 04:53 PM #23I'm seriously thinking of making up a stem piece to fill the gap at the side panels incorporating the wachamacallit hole.
+(some experts in the field spell it 'wotcha...', but most technical manuals written in Aust use your spelling, I'm reliably informed by a bloke at the pub.)

Have a safe, happy and useful trip Mik.

Yes a safe trip to you both and have fun.
Daddles popped in briefly to cast his critical eye over proceedings unfortunately he had to shoot through before we got down to some nitty gritty boat talk, I'll leave him to explain
Anyway a proper shed crawl is still to be done.
Cheers
Mike
