Eureka with Outriggers.
G'day,
I've been off the map for a while doing everything but boat building. Something else always seems to get in the way like life and such. I haven't been near the PD Goose this year and now I'm toying with the idea of putting outriggers on the Eureka and hoisting a sail. Having said that I really don't know that much about sailing. One thing I'm wondering about is, is a dagger board necessary. I imagine it has a lot to do with how the canoe handles but I'm only building the outriggers to have a bit of fun. Also can anyone tell me how long the outrigger hulls are? I need to know this for transport reasons.
Thanks for any help.
Cheers Kev.

Thanks Blue Sailor. I really have to do some measuring to find out if we can transport the whole lot. They have strict laws here on how you transport things.
