Right, I'll attach the skids then tape just the chines, stem and the transom edges....I will be using Aquacote:

for the hull and inside the hull.

The front deck, seats, centre case, rubrails,gunnels,knees, breast hook mast and spars will be coated with Aquacote Clear system:

This stuff is HARD. I was told by a very knowledgable and trusted friend that they saw someone drop (by accident) an aluminium mast from about 300mm, bounced off the deck and then the edge hit the deck and slid across the decking....yes there was a dent where it initially hit but it only made a mark on the deck, the man licked his thumb and rubbed it out.

So as far as protection of the bottom I think I'll be covered.

With the paint....it can be mixed with Dulux colours...I have chosen Atlantic Mystique for the outside and and off white on the inside:
