    Default GIS Sail and Spar Plan

    Hello, MIK,

    I am using my current boat as a platform for experimenting with different sail rig configurations. Both the balanced lug cat-configuration of the Goat and the cat-yawl configuration drawn up by Clint Chase have caught my eye and look like good places to start for considering the possibilities on my current craft. I am wondering if it is possible for me to acquire the sail-plan and spar dimensions of these two rigs w/o purchasing the entire plan set, which I do not need. I'd appreciate any help you can offer.

    Dennis I am using the dimensions of the exisiting lug MIK drew up and I created the dimensions for the birdsmouth mizzen. I'm not sure what you're experience is, but be careful with adapting a rig from one boat to another. There is a lot of factors to consider, sail area, sailing style being two big points.
