Yeah Mik, it is annoying. It is either put off building the 'goat and build something that I can easily car top single handed or continue to rent crappy beat up GRP Catalina E 12.5's during the summer at the local park. I live where there is good sailing year 'round, but the local park shuts down their boat rental at the end of summer. I'm not willing to pay $90.00 a month storage and not have ready access to my boat. For that amount of money, I could buy the plywood for two GIS over a years time.

As I suggested in your June Bug thread, how about building Mik's Beth - a good stable mate for the GIS (to come), easily stored and easily transported and ... interesting to sail.
