Heresy! Could the GIS be turned into a pram?
As I was musing and perusing through different pram designs by MIK (PDR), Michalak (Mikesboat) and Bolger (all of 'em! ) and the Pelican series, I was thinking of a larger more stable boat to take my family/friends myself coastal cruising/camping etc. Basically, what boat could I build next? (Sounds like I caught a boatbuilding bug!) The boxy boats are very appealing to me. Then, I was gazing at the pictures of my boat, especially the one attached, and thought to myself the most heinous of heretical questions... what if I built a bow panel, changed the bevel on BH1 and 2 to reflect a softer angle, and made the GIS into a pram?
I'm not saying this is what I'm going to do by any means, but I'm curious about the affects on the boat and what you all think? Total disaster or divine inspiration? More stable with more space, or inconsequential stability with just a few more inches and an insult to a beautiful design?
Thoughts?

A boat has to be designed from scratch to carry a pram bow above most wave impact.
A boat with minimum rocker like the goat will plough if fitted with a pram bow.
I don't mind pram bows on the right shaped boat at all.

Hey, I thought I was the only one that was messing with other people's designs.
Of course as slowly as I am building my PDR, everyone can rest easy that it is just an intellectual exercise......

I had a fairly eventful Poohuahua this morning, shortly after getting up. It must have been the Indian food I had the night before.
