She's turned out beautifully but she's in for a bumpy ride on that Easy Trailer with no springs

Is she called Beryl, on the bows, or Billabong, on the stern?

Did they spray the hull and the stripe?

    Maybe sponsored by Billabong?

    Howdy,

She has turned out nicely. The trailer is really a jinker as they live by the water.

I am not sure about the naming being Beryl (his wife's name) or billabong. I think it is nice!

The hull is International (Interlux in the USA) brightside applied with a special foam roller as described elswhere - the paint tightens up and flattens out as it dries. The stripe would not have been sprayed as the name is hand painted too.

I think the boat is sponsorship free. When the varnishing is finished the seat slats will go in.

    Hi MIK
That boat looks really nice, a lot of work to get that sort of finish, my congratulations to the builder. I look forward to the launch photos.
Do you reckon you can get a photo of the rowlock setup he used? It looks like through the gunwhale types from the photos.
    It is a great boat

It is through the gunwale. It is necessary with the flare. There was a mod from the design ... the extra piece there was added after the gunwales were rounded. With the original the extra width is glued on before the gunwales are rounded.
