Are the neighbors getting nervous?
What time is everyone showing up? I'm going to try and pull out Friday early...but I always say that and never do. I was going to spend tomorrow getting ready, but it's supposed to rain all day.
I, too, hope to get going early so that I can do a little sailing on Friday. But I will probably fail. And with a 6hr drive, I probably will roll in around 4:00 or 5:00.
Who is bunking in with me on campsite 6E? By the rules, I can share with another tent (not an RV or trailer). I'd like to pre-register, so I'll need names, license plates, etc. Thx.
Patrick, my brother and I will be departing from NJ at 10am so we'll be there by 3pm. I'll have my brother in my tent. Patrick and his family could be the other tent in my site.
Beaton1 (or 2) has family coming, so he can share your site. Alan and Leigh booked the other two sites.

Have a GREAT weekend!
We'd love to be there to enjoy the sailing, food, coffee, beer and comradery. Take and share lots of photos!
Safe travels to all.
Thanks Bob. We're set up and the weather is perfect.

Absolutely outstanding event, thanks to Dave! Great location. Great weather (although we could have used a tad more wind). Great people (although we missed those who didn't show). And four lovely craft out sailing.
We have loads of pictures to post. Well, not me. Alan and Rick do. I'm sure they'll make their way online soon.
What a great event.
Any photos to be posted?

Some photos have trickled onto Facebook, but they get scattered that way. I've been trying to capture/save/download some for consolidation. Meanwhile, my brother has the fun task of combing through hundreds if not thousands of shots to share. That's one draw back of technology; it can overwhelm the human.
Alan was the other dedicated photog and he has shared a few, but I suspect he has lots more. He rode on Pelican for awhile and we all danced around him. Plus I'm sure he has campground shouts too, including our group portrait.
My pics are in post-process too, but they're all from my GoPro so the subject will be... narrow. But Patrick's young son was my crew for a couple hundred pics, so there will a couple worth sharing.

Saturday day was a bust wind-wise, but we had a little blow on Sunday. Since I crewed in Paul's boat, I'll tell the story from that perspective.
Knowing we were the faster boat, we had to give the others a significant handicap:

When we got serious we ran them down in no time:

Pulling along side IAZ,P we had time to taunt a bit:

So superior was our speed, that we had time to circle around to IAZ,P's starboard and get another look:

Like a tennis player looking at their racket after missing a shot, Pat kept looking at his sail wondering what was wrong:

Dave hunkered down with steely determination:

But after sailing circles around him too the inevitable sank in:

Here's Paul looking like his goat medication just kicked in as we leave the rest of the herd behind:
