Should be no problem.
Has anyone else experienced this?

More progress. The girls have been continuing to work every Wednesday evening for 1-2 hours. They are thoroughly sick of gluing framing timber and clamping etc. but found a new zest when they went 3D.
The girls have added sharpening cutting tools to their skill set and can now sharpen chisels and plane irons.
Had a little 'dad' accident with the plane not following the directions and ripped the ply side where the bulkhead meets the side. Suffice to say 9 y.o. are not backward in letting the culprit know their displeasure.

Go girls.... you are further along than me.
Cliff.
If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

Still working away at the boat.
There have been a few missed sessions as term 3 draws to an end. As soon as we start the whine of "can we paint yet?" begins and continues for the next 2 hours.
We are going to glue in the frames and CB case then flip the hull and prep the exterior up to undercoat to scratch the itch.

The girls are upping the pace to get this boat finished before school breaks for the year. Photos for the last month or so are up in the album. Interior framing, side decks and tanks now installed, Tiller glued up and interior epoxy coated. The build has hit 50 hours now and still not painting yet.

A big push to get the boat done before the summer break, the girls finished the hull, painted inside and out but didn't get the boards and other appendages completed.
They were able to take the boat in to school then spent the next week sailing at Docklands in near perfect weather. Sadly the Banana Boat stayed in the shed waiting for the fittings to be attached and the mast, yard, boom and boards to be finished.
