Another PD Racer for Perth
A new PD Racer build in perth WA. Have finished building the hull apart from cutting out the centre case slot and the mast locating hole in the F/deck. I will make the mast and foils in due course.......as time permits. Will post some pics when I work out how it's done! Those in Perth interested in building a PD Racer are welcome to make contact for advice or viewing.

Welcome Bandit. I look forward to seeing and hearing about your build.
For a quick tutorial on attaching picture, go here. Although the post is about putting items for sale on the Market Place, the description of how to add pictures (it starts about 1/2 way down) is pretty helpful.Cheers

Welcome Bandit!
Two boats in one location makes all the difference ... people can suddenly see the potential. So thankyou for making contact.

Indeed, with a fleet starting to appear in Perth it might be time to consider a PDR as a next boat despite not having finished the first boat. Buying the plans last year to cover such an eventuality was a good idea. Might get the new version of the plans before a final decision is made.

Getting the Perth PDRacers together
Hi Everyone,
Getting the Perth PDRacers together, when they are completed, sounds like a great Idea, it would only involve picking a mutually acceptable location, and time.
As I have made modifications to make my PDRacer more useful, sail, oar, or outboard power are possible, but it has made my PDRacer heavier than average, so I don't anticipate winning any races, but would love the opportunity, just for having fun !.
At the rate I am going, due to my health etc, and developing the single handed transport and launch/recovery system, my PDRacer may be ready by next summer, but hopefully earlier.

Hi Bandit.
I saw in the 'Perth Voice' ( local community paper ) today an ad for the 'Homewright Training Centre', with a picture of your PDRacer before the decks were added, looks great, and will probably add to the interest locally.
