You guys, with your moving solutions, got me thinking of how to solve some of my own...
after struggling with my eureka today, i came up with this rough design that i hope to make when i get some spare time...

im not sure its the greatest, i was hoping to be able to lift the front onto the boot of the car and roll it up the back window (but that will probably break... any thoughts?) get it into position and take each set of wheels off before tying to the racks

    Thumbs up

    Hi MiLKey,

Either use a set of ramps as I have which will keep your rear windscreen intact, you could even just roll it up the ramps and remove the wheels while it is on your racks, or if it is long enough, simply position your rear rack back far enough that you can just lift one end of your Eureka onto the rear rack and lift the other end and shove it forwards until it's in the needed position.

Because of the length of the Eureka you can often set it down with one end behind the car and the other end beside the car. Then lift the end beside the car up and put it on the rear roofrack and push up.

Or did you mean just to move it around on the ground rather than carrying it?

I never thought of racking it like that, at the moment im using soft racks as a temp job so the eureka doesnt slide easily over them, but once i get a proper set of racks ill be sure to give your method a try!

As far as moving it from A to B on the ground i'll scrap something up with a cheap dolly that i can pick up from bunnings
