Second USA talk is up. It is a bit more about construction.

Michael Storer's second USA Podcast on boat building and design.

Gee the new website template is working well. I can have all the podcasts appear on the same page very easily.

The third talk on boat design and building is up.

It proposes a reason why Australian designers such as Iain Oughtred, B and B and me might have a different attitude that makes our boats different from Northern hemisphere designers.

Podcast mp3 by Michael Storer of Wooden boat design and construction. Part 3 of 3

Next time you will hear someone else talking about wooden boats when I put one of the interviews up.

    Best wishes

Podcast, Chuck of Duckworks about a new Boat Festival and new ideas for the Texas 200

    Podcast page is here

I was sitting in Chuck’s car as we were driving to the Lake Conroe Messabout. I knew that he had some plans for the Texas 200 event – to extend the concept and starting a new small boat festival on the Texas coast in a couple of years.

This is a podcast of that interview.

Chuck's concept about setting up a lot of points within a particular area might work for a lot of locations that don't have 200 miles of coastline suitable for an event. Places where there were lots of waterways and a myriad of islands would work well.
