Cool Tahi!
We are having something like a normal winter weather here after four years or more of little rain. So I hope Gippsland and maybe even the Murray Darling river catchment might get some water too.
Where is that bridge on your webpage?

Have you had a thought about what you will do with that big empty space in the back of the cabin?

Empty Space
Hi Mik,
Thanks for the reply, yes and no in response to your question, probably a small head and sitting area.... any ideas??
I am unsure where the bridge is but it reminds me of a couple, one over the Avon River in Christchurch NZ and the other and I can't think of the rivers name but in upstate New York.
Speaking of the rain, its stopped unfortunately, and yes i remember Adelaide well long HOT summers and dry winters .... driest city in the driest state on the driest continent in the world.... lived there for 10+ years
Cheers

Too much Rain
Hi Buzzard
Yes I understand to much rain ....... perhaps the "government" (and I will not get political) seriously should look at piping or channeling the excess water to areas that need it like - the Murray Darling Basin.........
Cheers

Howdy Tahi, I do like the idea of getting more built in seating in that area .... nothing stiffens up a bottom and sides like seating does! So Central passageway, enclosed head and seat down the other side going across at the back.
Hassle me and I can do a drawing for you so we can see how it works out to scale.

A couple of ideas
Hi Mik
Exactly, what we thought we would do, however as you are well aware the mind then ticks over and over - how does this sound, move the galley and head to the rear and bring the rear sitting to replace where the galley was ...... or would this increase the weight at the stern to much?
or move the head into a cubicle on the rear porch, but again concerned about the weight at the stern, we are looking at using a pota-potti - also would the addition of a bike rack (the type used to carry a couple of bikes on a tow bar) be to much weight attached to the stern and cause a problem (the bikes would hang over the water).
cheers
