    Default Rigging the PDRacer

I have looked at the rigging guide on the PDRacer site. It appears that someone went to great lengths not to show how to attach the sail at the top of the mast. Should I drill a hole in the mast? Should I attach a metal loop to tie the top of the sail to? Hints for novices would be nice. Any help provided will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi David,

I will fix that ... you are the second person to mention it.

For the sprit rig it is just a hole in the mast, lashed as in the drawing below, which I have just added to the set.

The method on the left, which is common, is wrong as the sail pulls away from the mast. The method on the right is correct as it keeps the corner in the designed relationship to the spar.

    Hope this helps.
