I suspect the critical poster had tongue firmly planted in cheek. Lacking a tongue-in-cheek emoticon the message arrived in a different form than intended.

As someone else said, this has always been a very positive forum totally lacking in the flaming that is so common elsewhere. Your story was presented with humor and much honesty and it will be helpful to all of us who try to manage our imperfect boats, with imperfect skill and intellect, on bodies of water that don't care a whit about us.

As for the picture problem, it looks like you sorted it out. I use both Flickr and Photobucket and have learned the key to success on either is the use of at the end of the url. The picture will appear. If you choose the right option on Photobucket those will be included automatically when you Paste. With Flickr I just add them manually.

I don't think there's any way you could call Mik a bad joke... but he sure made some bad jokes while he was visiting here in Oregon. Self-defence, I suppose

Wow... bad jokes, and now lies. All you have to do is add insults (though that's usually my dept.) and you'll have the trifecta.

Miss your bad jokes. And your playful lies. Sounds like you had a good time in the watery desert, though!
