Thankyou.....
to Michael, PAR,Peter and all the contributors on MSWBP. The help here I have found invaluable with our Eureka build. If so much was shared around the world for all our problems there wouldn't be any.
Once again thankyou.
Cheers,Antje and Kev.

Hi Antje and Kev,
Wow Shucks!
We do our best. Glad you were able to sort through the different points of view to find your own way
Have you had anyone ask you either
1/ Where did you get that beautiful antique boat?
or
2/ Where did you buy this?
MIK

One guy asked me straight up how long it had taken me to restore it and i would say that 50% of those that were interested thought that I'd bought it. Most thought that I had to be a boat builder or carpenter. I can almost name all the parts of a boat in German now.
We were camped next to a couple that have been into stand up paddling for the last two years. They were curious about stitch and glue and the possibility of building a stand up board. Maybe food for thought Michael.
Cheers, Kev.

Kev, I think the comments you're getting about your canoe speaks more to your craftsmanship than our advise.
Some people just do good work and you're obviously one of these, though I do appreciate the thanks, I think your efforts speak for themselves . . .

Thankyou PAR.
One of the main comments from people were that they thought that they couldn't build something like the "Flatdog". I think with patience and sticking to the plans it would be achievable for most people. I think that what stands out on my build is the wood contrast, the branding and the seats, all of which were my own personal choice. As Michael once said "each build will reflect the personality of the builder", or words to that effect. Also words from my father. He said "when you do a job you should stand back and give it a very critical look-over and you should be happy. If you're not, fix it".
Me. I'm very happy.
Cheers, Kev.
