Thread: Compliments

Barry, John and Ray went into a pub for a quiet
ale. As they lined up against the bar a voice was
heard to say, "Hi Barry, you are handsome" Barry
was quite surprised, saw no one, and kept on drinking.

Next thing the voice was heard again, "Hi John, you
have wonderful manners". He looked around, could not
see anyone, then kept on drinking.

Then the voice was there again, "Hi Ray, you have a
really nice body". Ray was astounded but kept on with
his drinking.

So they asked the barman just where this voice could
be coming from.

The barman replied, "Oh its just the peanuts in the
jar over there. They are complimentary".
