I can't help but wonder what the operators would do if they gave someone a heart- or panic attack? I find it hard to believe they'd have insurance.

The best one of these u-tube scares I've seen was a bloke in a bear-suit, posing as a stuffed animal in a mall. He jumped at a few ladies, giving them nasty frights, then picked on a fellow in a baseball hat. Promptly got a righty in the face that sent him flying back through a window. Priceless!

They seem to forget that in "fight or flight" not everyone will flee...
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Not me, that's what she looked like after a few. I don't drink alcohol anymore, I leave that up to my brother.

Ok. Lets talk about it from a techno perspective.

    Cool.

I would be very unhappy if it scared a child.

Like Kryn, I don't drink anymore.

But I don't drink any less, either.

Yes, I'm 77 YO. I have been drinking for well over 70 years. Yes, we can talk about my father giving me beer starting at about age 5.

But it has been a recent development where my primary care physician ordered me to give up drinking. To satisfy my PCP, I now abstain from drinking.

However I have discovered that when fresh whisky is poured over a glass of crushed ice, allowed to mellow for about 5 minutes and finally placed in a freezer for another 10 minutes, the whole concoction can be eaten with a spoon. So that is how I gave up drinking.

A blatant misuse of a technology which could have been used for a far better purpose
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

It's technology like that that starts off as a "joke", that gives rise to limbs/skin for amputees etc. is the way I see it.
