Dinner Blessing
A woman invited several people to dinner.
At the table, she turned to their six-year-old daughter and said, "Would you like to say the blessing?"
"I wouldn't know what to say," the girl replied.
"Just say what you hear mommy say," the woman answered.
The daughter bowed her head and said, "Lord, why on earth did I invite all these people to dinner?"

Forgive your enemies, but never, ever forget their names.
The stupid neither forgive nor forget; the naïve forgive and forget; the wise forgive but never forget.

I was at a friend's parents home for dinner on night and his youngest sister was asked to say grace.
'Round my teeth, round my gums, look out stomach here it comes'.
Stern looks followed with a request to do it 'properly'.
She's still my favourite.

I was out the front of our house one day when the neighbours wife yelled out "can you please take out the rubbish?".
He yelled back "you cooked it, you take it out"...
I miss him...
