    Default Why don't you listen?

A woman walks up to a shelf-stacker in the local supermarket and asks where she can find the broccoli.
"Sorry lady," says the stacker. "We're out of broccoli but we'll have some fresh in tomorrow." Then he carries on stacking.
A few minutes later the same woman taps him on the shoulder. "Where can I find the broccoli?"
The stacker rolls his eyes but takes a deep breath and says, "Sorry lady but we're out of broccoli. Try again tomorrow."
He's back at work only a few minutes when the same woman gets right in his face and shouts, "Where's the damn broccoli?"The stacker takes a deep breath and says, "Look lady, can I ask you a few questions?" She looks at him oddly and he says, "Just indulge me will you?" She says, "OK".
"Right," says the stacker. "Can you spell 'Cat' as in 'Catastrophic'?"
    "C.A.T.,"she says.
"How about 'Dog' as in 'Dogmatic'?"
    "D.O.G.," says the woman.
"What about 'Flame' as in broccoli?" he asks.
She snorts. "There is no Flame in broccoli!"
"THAT'S WHAT I'VE BEEN TRYING TO TELL YOU" shouts the stacker.

    Pete
