    Default Giant snapper caught.

Whilst out fishing in Port Phillip Bay recently I was using a relatively light kit
    which included 2kg strain line.
I managed to catch a monster snapper which weighed 13.25 kgs but unfortunately
when reeling it in I almost got it into the boat when the line broke.
It would have been the heaviest snapper I had ever caught.

A few years ago a friend of mine took his girlfriend out on his boat fishing on a nice warm summers day. He caught a couple of good size Mackerel and she got a Pink Snapper............

I am disappointed ... no one has taken the bait yet.

How could you know it weighed 13.25 kg, as your line broke while trying to get it in the boat.

    Good onya Kryn!

I know it weighed 13.25kg as I checked the scales on it's back as I was reeling it in.

    Gotcha!
