After we got to Grandmas.
About 65 years ago we were visiting Grandma and Grandpa, at afternoon tea Grandma got out a big tray of biscuits she'd just baked. Later that day on the way home Dad commented the biscuits were that rock hard he'd nearly broken his dentures. Mum said "didn't you hear Grandma say "take your pick"?"

At the hardware store I asked the assistant to show me the shovels. After taking me to the aisle he said "take your pick".
