    Default Consultant

I was on the computer in my home office when my eight-year-old son
asked what I did for a living.

    "I'm a consultant," I said.

    "What's a consultant?"

"It's someone who watches people work and then tells them how they
    could do it better."

"We have people like that in my class," he said, "but we call them pests."

Forgive your enemies, but never, ever forget their names.
The stupid neither forgive nor forget; the naïve forgive and forget; the wise forgive but never forget.

As a former consultant, I used to say:
    If you can't do, teach.
    If you can't teach, consult.

Those that can't teach.....are in the majority.

Those that can't teach.....need to go back to school.

Those that can't teach.....probably think that teachers only work from 9-3 and have it good, getting too many holidays, etc.

Those same people, when asked if they would consider teaching as a career, say they wouldn't do it for quids (sorry about the Australian slang, rrich.)

    Ah yes, CAG.
