    Default Mechanic Vs Heart Surgeon

The Mechanic was removing the cylinder head from an engine of a car, when a well known Surgeon entered the workshop.
The mechanic said "Doc, take a look at this car, I open its heart, take out the valves, fix 'em up, put 'em back in, and when I finish it works just like new."
"So how come I get such a small salary, and you get such big bucks for basically doing the same sort of work?"
The Surgeon smiled as he leant over, paused and then replied, "Try doing that with the engine running?"
To grow old is mandatory, growing up is optional.

In a similar vein, there was the Gynaecologist who retired and decided to become a motor cycle mechanic. In his final exams, he earned 110%. When he asked about the extra 10%, the examiner told him "Not only did you pull out the pistons, change the rings, re-grind the valves and change the spark plugs, you did it all through the exhaust pipe."

last time I recycled this joke to a Cardiologist I ended up in Emergency strapped to a heart monitor and a lecture from the wife..

    Not touching it again..

mind you, when the lovely young intern was sent to take my history and when she said " anything else should know about ..?"
I did happen to mention I heard voices. she left suddenly.

I also got into the diagnostic mode on the monitor.. very interesting..
