Memories
An 80 year old woman told her doctor that she had
always wanted a baby but was never successful.
Her doctor said that with the latest techniques she
could have one, so she undertook the programme and
a few months later had the baby.
The local newspaper wanted to run a story on it so
rang the old woman and asked could a reporter come
around. The old woman requested that he come
around in about a week.
The reporter arrived but the old lady said, "Wait until
the baby is crying please". The reporter replied that it
would be nicer if he could get a photo of the baby
smiling to add to the story.
She insisted, "Wait until the baby is crying please"
so the reporter asked why.
The old lady replied, "Because I can't remember where
I put it when I got back from the hospital".

God I sometimes feel like that. Was really bad when I'd done a 2 am feed, and I'd wake in the morning with a start unable to remember putting the baby back in his cot.
That's also why a lot of other things get lost around hear too. They don't cry.anne-maria.
