It hasn't been removed, just moved to Open Slather, as it was of a dubious nature.
As for the sheep jokes, send them to me

The Open Slather sub-forum is only accessible via an application to the mods for your own password to be issued. Access isn’t denied to those who ask for it but be warned it may contain topics or statements that are offensive to you, including personal statements and/or opinions made by other members. There is a warning to that effect in the sub-forum description.

Dubious nature? If it was perceived as racist because of the inference of what the kiwi farmer was up to that doesn't hold water because I was a kiwi once and the joke didn't hurt my feelings at all.
You only have to scroll down to the bottom of this page and read the previous two postings of the same joke from 2001 and 2008.
    What's changed since then?

Lots of things have changed since 2001, Geoff. We are now in the "Generation of the Permanently Offended"

Once a Kiwi - always a Kiwi. Some things change but that never will.

    Default happy kiwi

I am a kiwi and will always be, in saying that I get to hear the best (and worst) kiwi/sheep jokes, I am not offended as they could also belong to other stereotypes

Australia has more sheep, but ours are better looking

I'm still over the moon with the " blackwash" at Eden Park last nite, go the All Blacks!

Glad to hear your comments, Hodgo. A true sense of humour requires one to be able to take it as much as give it. One of the best jokes I had turned towards me (I'm a true blue Aussie) was by a Kiwi who asked, "Do you know how to tell when an Aussie is on the level? He dribbles out of both sides of his mouth at once." I have to admit, I have re-told and laughed about that one for years.

    The moderator.
The rule applied is "Would an average 9 year old girl be offended by the item."
In this case , if the last remark was explained, it would fail that test.
