    Default Nice jumper

    The Yarra River is the main stream running through
    Melbourne and is the subject of many jokes.

    I remember wanting to cross over the Yarra
    but the river was in flood. It was two kilometres wide
    so I got on my horse, rode back to Northcote so I could
    get a long run at it.

    I raced at breakneck speed, dug in the spurs, and the
    horse jumped.

    Did I clear the river?

    My oath I did. I made it easily and landed in Hobart.

    Couldn't you have just walked across it (no not suggesting you are the messiah) but it is mostly soil isn't it.
