Thread: Paddy in heaven

St Peter greeted Paddy at the pearly gates and he said to Paddy. "This is where you will spend eternity but as you go through these gates be careful not to step on a duck. If you step on a duck, you will be punished for eternity. Paddy walks through the pearly gates and sure enough, there were more ducks than you could ever imagine.
Paddy treads very carefully as he walks through the gates and nearly steps on several of the ducks but he manages to get through the gates eventually without stepping on a single duck.

Suddenly the most beautiful girl you could imagine came to Paddy and put her arms around him and kissed him passionately. Paddy could not believe his good fortune for he had done nothing in his life on earth to deserve such a reward in heaven.

He says to the beautiful young girl at his side " I dont understand ,how come I get you to be my partner for eternity I have done nothing to deserve this" The young girl shakes her head in bewilderment, "I'm sure I don't know either Paddy. All I know is that I was walking through the gates of heaven when I stepped on this duck"
