    Default Parking in Sydney

Guy in the middle of Sydney driving down the city centre looking for a parking spot. (almost impossible in Sydney) after about half an hour of driving up and down and round and round in circles becomes frustrated because he has an important engagement to attend.
In his frustration and desperation he talks to the Lord out loud.. "Lord please, please make a parking spot appear for me. Dear Lord, if you do just this one thing for me this time. I swear to you, I will never ask you to do anything for again. I promise you Lord that I will be good and do no wrong but please, please give me a parking spot so I can park my car and not be late for my appointment.. Please Lord. I beg you.. I will never ask a favour of you again."
Low and behold, no sooner had he finished his frustrated prayer. A vacant parking spot appears just a few yards ahead. A miracle. He pulled into the parking spot and got our of his car, looked up to the heavens and said,,"
It's okay Lord, I've found one now."
    Reality is no background music.
    Cheers John

what did he say when he came back to his car and there was $131 fine for parking in a loading zone, or his car had been towed away as the entire street was a clearway for roadworks that were happening 20km away.

God couldn't find you a parking spot in the Sydney CBD, must have been someone else.

One of the things that startled me many years ago when I moved to Brisbane was that people actually drove into the city, and there was parking! Not anymore. In Sydney you wouldn't even try. I think in all the years I lived there I only drove into the CBD maybe twice, and didn't stop
