Thread: Not so smart.

A lawyer and a "woodie" are sitting next to each other on a
long flight. The lawyer, thinking that the woodie would not be
very bright, asked if he wanted to play a game.

The woodie is tired, (coming back from Proserpine Turnout)
declined as he just wanted to have a snooze.

The lawyer became persistent and said, "I ask you a question,
and if you don't know the answer, you pay me $5.00. Then you
ask me one and if I don't know the answer I will pay you $500.00.

This caught the woodie's attention and he agreed to play.

The lawyer asked, "What is the distance from Proserpine to
Melbourne?". The woodie gave up immediately and handed over
$5.00.

Then the woodie asked, "What goes up a hill with three legs
and comes down with four?"

The lawyer, not wanting to be beaten, uses his laptop, his mobile
phone and desperately calls all of his friends but to no avail. He
handed over the $500.00 to the woodie. The woodie then curled
up for a snooze.

The lawyer was going out of his mind not knowing the answer.
In desperation he woke up the woodie and asked, "Well, what
is it that goes up a hill with three legs and comes down with four?"

The woodie reached into his pocket, handed the lawyer $5.00
and went back to sleep.
