    Default smart or what.......

I didn't know if my 4 year old granddaughter had learned her colors yet, so I decided to test her. I would point out something and ask what color it was. She would
tell me, and always she was correct. But it was fun for me, so I continued. At last she headed for the door, saying sagely, "Poppy, I think you should try to figure out some of these yourself!"

Get her to teach you about numbers over ten.
so four and ten is fourteen
and then there is sixteen seventeen etc.

Then tell her fiveteen and watch her splutter to explain its pronounced fifteen.
Ask if its the only one and she'll say yes.

Then say oneteen and twoteen and threeteen and wait for the explanations they give.

If your brave try the elevtwenty twetwenty (22). and go back to why are they not teen-one teen-two teen-three, just like twenty-one twenty-two etc.

They will play teacher for over an hour on all this

He should actually start with binary. With only two numbers, it's such an easier concept than decimals.

Should be more fun than talking about it on this Forum.

They would probably know more about it than most of us here.
