True story:

A couple of years ago I had to get the ute registered in Victoria, as the NT rego was about to expire.

I left things a bit late, not knowing that you had to have an appointment to register the vehicle here.

I couldn't get an appointment in Melbourne, but there was an appointment on the day I needed in Bendigo, a couple of hours drive away, so I booked in for that. The appointment was for 9AM which was also when the office opened. Naturally I ensured I arrived early.

As soon as I got out of the car after the long drive, I had a sudden urge to go to the toilet but it was too close to my appointment time to go anywhere else and I could not get to the toilet inside the building until the office opened.

I sneaked around the back of the building and found a fairly private spot between two shrubs in the back garden and was fairly feeling relieved.

I had not noticed the back door to the office until it opened and two female workers emerged for their pre-work smoke. All the important bits were well covered but it was painfully obvious what I was doing.

One of the girls said: "Hey, did you just bring that in for a roadworthy or do you need to do a license test on it too?" I just apologized, said I couldn't wait, zipped up and left.

Five minutes later the office opened and I was called to the counter - by the lady I had spoken to out the back. Apparently I was not the first to be caught out like that.
