Anthony Albanese addressed a major gathering of Australian Aboriginal Elders in Darwin.

He spoke for nearly an hour, about his plans for increasing every Aboriginal's present standard of living.

Though vague in details, he spoke about plans to help his "sisters and brothers".

Afterwards, the elders presented him with a plaque inscribed with his new native language name, which translated into English as "Walking Eagle", which he proudly accepted.

After Albo left, a news reporter asked the Elders how they came to select that name.

They explained that "Walking Eagle" is a name given to a bird that full of s**t, that it can no longer fly.
