I can relate to that.

A perfect lesson for English teachers as well as Management lecturers.

The one I like here in Aus is this when you say to someone

You're not going to eat that are you, and they answer No.
If you ask if they are going to eat that and they also say No.

The answer to the first one is not correct.

I noticed this when I was in Singapore and I asked Question 1 and they answered No and then began eating something.
Seems aus ignore the not in a question .

The basic rule when your significant other sends you shopping - do not come back with the right things or you will be sent again next time
