I should be there too. I've just started looking into CNC and building my own machine, and it seems too good to be true that there's a BBQ/meetup so close.

Yes it is undercover Chris.
Although I am not sure, it might be a bit breezy.

Thanks to all those who made the day exceptional.
We had 50 guests and 8 machines.

Benny,
Thanks for the fast photo's. I really wanted to be there, but due to manning problems I was on call for our Rescue Squad over the weekend, which put paid to my intentions to come to the BBQ. Even my wife was planning to come to Melbourne, but she wanted to go shopping, so I suppose I saved heaps by not coming!!
Cheers,

28th July 2009, 10:40 PM #42Perhaps the BBQ organiser can help
Out of interest, were any of the prize winners members of this forum?
Most of the people that attended were from the CNC forum and a couple from this forum.
Actually, most people use both forums for information and participate on either.

Good news is I found out who the winner was (Brad the spiderman) and so it's all sorted. Thanks to those who helped
