Hi Peter,
Your more than welcome to come. The BBQ isn't just for CNC folk as the products that generally get made from these units are wood based and in my case i try to use it in my woodworking products.
I know that there is a tendency for traditional woodies to shy away from this CNC gizmo stuff, but realistically, it is just another machine which helps me produce what I want.
The great part is, once drawn, I can make lots of the parts although the time spent making the machine would have probably made those parts too.
See you there hopefully. Always willing to put names and faces together from the forums

Non CNC Machining folk are welcome. Come and ask questions and see how wood should be used!!
6A Rangeview Road Donvale 3111
Starting at 9 AM Finishing at 5 PM (Exhibitors can arrive from 7.30 AM)
*******IMPORTANT UPDATE***************
Unfortunately Ivan has withdrawn his venue for the next BBQ and so I have had to make 2 changes.
1. New Venue: 6A Rangeview Road Donvale 3111 (Benny has graciously offered to host the BBQ and this is confirmed as a firm venue. Thank you very much Benny) - The online MAP below will show you the new venue location.
2. Saturday: Due to the change of venue the decision has been made to only have the BBQ on Saturday the 4th of July. (9.00am - 5.30pm)
I hope this does not inconvenience people, but this was the best solution given the untimely withdrawal of the previous venue.

As the job hunt is showing no results so far, you can put me down as a 'maybe attending'
I have to pay a visit to my investment property and that's half way to Melbourne so what's a few more hours behind the wheel?Geoff

Exactly 6 seconds into the video is a member of this forum who is prolific with posts.
Can you guess the man?
Second chance, exactly 1 minute in is another prolific poster. The gent in question has his arms crossed and is sporting a little goatie i think.

Don't know who the first bloke is but the second one is Greolt. Bob alias Crocky is at 17 seconds and I see seafurymike staring in the video as well. I know Allan alias Zoot and Russell alias Epineh were there as well.
Do I get one of the door prizes for guessing?
Hope you have a great time on Saturday and wish I was there.Cheers,
Rod
