Aspire 2.5 and VcarvePro 5.5
If you haven't already had notification there is a free upgrade for Aspire to 2.5 and soon to be released upgrade for Vcarvepro.
Vectric have added some flash new features and fixed a few bugs.
I suspect with a little encouragement from Greg the new version has a wrapper feature for machining on a rotary axis. It needs to be acknowledged the effort that Beta testers do to make the final product we get work. Many voluntary hours and spent grey cells are put in by these people testing the software and making suggestions for new features.
Upgrades are available through this linkCheers,
Rod

Cheers for the update Rod,
I`m trying to figure out wheather i should spend the extra $$ and go with Aspire or go with VCarve Pro. I guess whatever is easiest to use would be best.
I`m getting ahead of myself tho as i dont even have a machine yet, but it doesnt hurt to be prepared
Looking forward to checking out your setup in the next couple of weeks

Gidday Gooma,
I have both products and can give you a comparison. Your decision will be based on what you want to do and the price of each package. There is a big jump in price for Aspire. I should remove Vcarve from my computer as it was used as an upgrade to Aspire but it is handy to look at all the old files.
Hope you have plenty of time.
Hi John,
Yeah have to agree I don't think any of us have spent the time to learn all the features.Cheers,
Rod
