.au site for gears and chains
Some time ago someone, I think it was on this forum, posted a link to an australian site that sold gears and chains and motors (mainly for electric bikes). I've tried to look for the address but can't remember much about it. Can anyone remember or provide any leads about this or any other related site.
What I want to do it manually drive two 8 mm diam 1m long threaded rods with a single hand crank and am thinking of connecting the two rods by a chain and couple of gears. The rods are parallel an 400 mm apart. The load it needs to lift is about 7 kg - CNC type precision is not necessary.
Thanks
