Default Bought a new router for CNC today

    Waiting with anticipation for delivery

    Sorotec - Kress Frässpindel
Bought a few accessories as well.
    Best thing
For a reasonable price it can be upgraded to ATC.
Have to make a new mount for it when it arrives.
Anybody able to give me a clue what this is?

It looks like some kind of speed control to me.

    Hi Saisay

I have a Kress spindle on my machine and it's a very robust unit. The second picture is a replacement speed control for the FME1050 spindle.

    Cheers

    Thank you Geoff
I intend to use it with the Planet CNC setup.
Would you happen to have a plan for the router bracket?
It would be most gratefully received

Sorry Saisay, I don't have a plan for the bracket, but it's very simple, along the lines of this: Kress Milling Spindle Tool Holder 43mm Clamp CAM CNC MILL Laser Plasma | eBay

Didn't buy it though. It was machined up by a mate.

    Default Mount

I just made this over the weekend on UHMHDPE,
Will have some photos of before and after over the long weekend as have not replaced the spindles yet.
I figured out that at exact 43.00 mm, it was just too tight to squeeze the spindle into it, so had to go with 43.6mm hole.
This is going to go into the shark and hence had to use the UHMHDPE.
The final slit was simply on the drop saw cutting it using a 2mm blade.
Let me know if you need the file that i used to cut it out.

    Hope this helps,

    regards
    Harender

    Hi Harender
When you received your Kress, what sort of plug was at the end of the cable?
