Bunnings dust collector
Well I was at bunnings today and they are selling a new product for drilling in to roofs to collect the dust as it falls from around your drill bit, simple thing just a flexible body on a plastic housing.
Decided since Ive got to route my new cutting board dead flat, and being mdf it makes such a mess, I wiould by one and adapt it to my router, well made some brackets on the lathe fitted it up, not perfect but a huge improvement on before
Mo airborne dust. Maybe might even start to do a design which incorporates a vacuum cleaner head

As you can see, I route a cutting board flat to get the perfect bottom surface,
1st pic, is the board dust left behind as its routing, notice the clean edges. awesome
second is it all vacuumed to reveal the depth of the cut 3mm

Now that I kind of know it works, Im goingb to lathe up a new one with in stead of a push on fitting which thuis is, maybe a spin on fitting, so that way you setup your job and then spin the catcher on afterwards, make one like above and maybe one with bristkles and one with a vacuum attachment and bristles
Ideas.....
