    Default V Carve bits?

    Hi there, just wondering what v carve bits people are using and where is the best place to buy them in Aus?

    Hi Nick,

    I use these "V" engraving bits...they work great for timber,acrylic and aluminium, very clean finish.

    They have a range of small diameter End mills and Ball also.

    Have had no problems with service...roughly 3 week delivery,

    There are also other suppliers on ebay.

    I have been using the Carbi-Tool ones you find at hardware shops, I know they can be a bit pricey but they work well and I get good mileage from them.

    Also dropping them on concrete and/or crashing your machine into the table with the spindle off will snap them like a twig...wish I hadn't found that out the hard way.
