Default New to CNC Australian Maker Store

    Hi all.

I could really use some help in choosing a cnc router.
    I'm looking at getting a cnc router at 1500mm x 3000mm.
I'm looking at The Maker Store for my cnc.
Could any one please inform me about their Ox Gear CNC at this link.

    Thanks.

Little hard to help. I don't know your intended use case or budget and that has a big impact.

That is a light weight machine. 1.5x3m is a big machine.
Notice their complete kit has options for a 400W spindle (i.e very low power)

There's a series of videos on building this machine on YouTube.

CNC Router Build Series - YouTube

It's probably worth the couple of hours watching them to get a grasp of what's involved in getting a kit CNC up and running. (There's a few shortcomings with how he's set his up, in my opinion.)

I have a different Makerstore machine and it suits my needs. It really depends what you want to do. I am guessing you want to work with full sheets of ply. As others have pointed out, it's a big machine, but lightweight. With a 1500mm X axis, you should think about whether a lightweight router or small spindle is enough for your needs and whether it's possible to stiffen the X axis beam so it doesn't sag.

I am no expert...these are just some things to think about. More knowledgeable people will be able to guide you better with some more details about what you want to make, how much time you're willing to put in and so on. Good luck.
