In a lot of cases that's what I do.

Today I got caught as I changed my profile bit from 10mm to 6mm and I changed it in the path OK and deleted the 10mm bit ( which you can't if it attached to the path). Anyhow all went well as I thought the dressup tags would follow but no way while it showed the dressup tags there when I opened the file up on the dressup the boxes wern't ticked I set them up with the 10mm bit, luckily it never destroyed my job it was a close call. As I was doing an array on the second job I stopped it with 1mm to go.

Latest upgrade to my machine - a second hand Bluetooth Xbox controller.

Brilliant bit of kit, especially when having to get down low and close to zero in on a spot.
All the buttons are programmable in GSender. The joysticks move the X and Y axis - as long as you hold them “over”, the spindle moves along the axis and stops as soon as you let go of the joystick. If you just. “Flick” the joystick, the axis will move a set amount as detailed in the program settings.
I was going to ask some questions re inlays but I’ll start a new thread later.
