CNC flooded, awaiting rebuild
Have had the router motor rebuilt. Now to stepper motors / drivers. If we replace existing units with new, going coloured wire to coloured wire one at a time, are we on the right track?
The units in question would be 4 x stepper motors (Type 85BYGH450B-06D-15J) and drivers (Model MD882). I believe at least the MD882 has been superceded.
This outfit had a large air suction unit originally attached, but this has been done away with. The original power requirement for this outfit was 3-phase. Having done away with the suction, would I be correct in assuming 15 amp would be sufficient (depending on the draw of the router motor)?
Any help would be appreciated.

I hope you're going to be replacing the suction unit because the amount of dust CNCs generate is insane. Also, expect your too life to decrease without extraction; heat kills cutting edges, extraction helps keep the heat down by both removing hot chips as they are made and ensuring a constant flow of cool air over the tool.
