Default CNC Hobby Workshop Retirement Maleny

    Hi all,
After many happy and sometimes challenging years in my workshop, its time to reinvent myself and change/ scale down my hobby. Like many, have realized that Im no longer immortal and need to see as much of Australia and some special places in the world that are dear to my heart.
What Im trying to say is that I have decided to part ways with my two cnc machines. One is a 9 kw air cooled Spindle on a vacuum bed 3000mm * 1500 mm * 200mm 8 station ATC and the other is a TWIN rotary CNC , 2400 *300 4kw water cooled machine.
Im suffering withdrawal symtoms as I type this!
If you want to see what Ive been up to over the years you can have a look on wemakeit.com.au ( its a his and hers) site. Or check out a project with my friend at Rosewood Library reading Tree
Am going to list them for sale, plus sundry cutters and spare, the three phase vacuum pump and compressor.
Would appreciate some advice from anyone who may have been through a similar voyage.
    Cheers All

I’m rather jealous that you can call these machines hobby machines.

if I had the space and power connection I’d be very interested.

try advertising in the machinery sale forum for more exposure.

Sorry you are closer! Well, I guess some people buy fishing boats, antique cars…I got hooked on CNC…. Started because I wanted to make things, but had no formal training in my background, but could operate a computer ! And the it IMG_9828.jpeg
